i thoroughly love random acts of kindness. i had the privilege of having my boyfriend come to visit me this weekend. i love when he comes to visit. it's just such a special time for us. this weekend, we went to the mall and i drove because, well, i love driving! as we were driving, my gas light went on. that always sends me into a panic. with my checking account balance running low and unable to transfer money from my savings account to my checking, i pulled out the $5 i had left in my wallet and stopped at the gas station. being the wuss that i am, i asked my boyfriend to go inside and pay the cashier. he went inside and did so. as he came out i sat and talked to him as he pumped gas. i then noticed that the dial had surpassed the $5 mark and said how something must be wrong with the pump and for him to stop pumping gas. ryan then began to blush and said just sit back. ryan had added $10 of his own money towards gas for me. when i asked him why he said "i want to make sure you have gas in your car and are safe and don't run out". ugh he is just such a sweetheart. i love him so much. him doing that is a reminder of how there is still good left in the world <3
